Northfield,Illinois-Stepan,which makes speciality polyols,recorded group sales of 2962m the first half of 2019.As with the gross profit figure,it was almost unchanged on the 2018 numbers.Sales in the company's polymers business subsided very slightly by 0.76% between the first half of 2018 and 2019.They fell to 2260.8m in the first half of 2019.This is exactly 22m less than sales in the first half of 2018.
