摘要

Pedagogical work imposes considerable demands on staff. According to the occupational psychological stress model. the subjective assessment of workplace conditions is critical for an individual's experience of the magnitude of either health ressources or stress exposure at work. Based on data from two questionnaire surveys, this paper describes characteristics of child care centers and child daycare homes, and analyses whether and to what extent staff evaluates them as health ressources or stressful hardships. Both child care teachers and childminders in daycare homes report to experience more ressources than straints at work. Setting-specific patterns of ressources and straints were detected. Results point out that prevention and health promotion should be designed setting-sensible and that tangible measures need to be tailored to the unique composition of conditions on-site.
