The objective of this study was utilization of analysis of multiply regression to evaluate the effect of area under the disease progress curve (AUDPS) and thousand-grain weight on the grain yield in spring barley grown in the Southwest Poland. The study comprised of 25 spring barley genotypes (five cultivars: Basza, Blask, Antek, Skarb and Rubinek as well as all possible 10 double mixtures and 10 triple mixtures), evaluated at eight environments (two locations in four years) in a randomized completeblock design, with four replicates. The results show that the thousand-grain weight determined the grain yield for all cultivars as well as all double and triple mixture combinations. The AUDPC affected grain yield of double and triple mixture combinations of spring barley cultivars and there were no significant differences recorded for pure cultivars.
