Corrosion UK 2007,was a successful event attracting delegates from across the globe,thanks to our dedicated team at Sheffield Hallam and our friends at the Institute of Metal Finishing.I would like to thank everyone involved,the organisers,the presenters,the exhibitors and the delegates.I would like to thank the Corrosion Science Division for agreeing to hold their Corrosion Science Symposium alongside the Conference.The mix of students and older members proved very dynamic with the students leading us oldies astray in the evenings.It was wonderful to meet the corrosionists of the future and listen to their enthusiasm.On the middle evening we enjoyed the hospitality of the staff at Sheffield's Millennium Galleries for the Conference dinner,where we were served good old Yorkshire grub and plenty of it.
