Pyeroy Meets Powerful Painting Challenge

Specialist protective coatings contractor Pyeroy Group has had to overcome considerable logistical challenges in undertaking its latest contract-the repainting of one of Europe's largest offshore wind farms.The company has recently been awarded a Euro 3 million contract for the coatings maintenance and refurbishment of wind turbines at the Arklow Offshore Wind Power Plant in the Irish Sea.Located on the Arklow Bank about 10km off the coast of County Wicklow and 60km south of Dublin,the wind farm comprises seven,3.6 megawatt turbines providing renewable energy to meet the electricity requirements of around 16,000 Irish households.
