March recycled containerboard and fine paper prices driven down in China

Prices for recycled containerboard and fine paper are on the decline in China as the Covid-19 oandemic weakens demand. Recycled containerboard prices have been like a roller coaster over the past six weeks. The price rally began in the middle of last month and sent major grades up by RMB 300-500/tonne ($42-70/tonne) by Februa ry 26, when PPI Asia concluded its price surveys.
