Spain's political uncertainties have been poison for the economy,which is losing momentum.Exports are impacted by the global economic slowdown,Brexit issues and the US-China trade dispute.In 2018,gross domestic product(GDP)of the fourth-largest national economy in the euro zone grew by 2.5% according to Eurostat(Luxembourg;www.ec.europa.eu/euro-stat).Although this is above the EU average of 1.8%,growth-at 3.05% in 2017-has now declined for the second year in succession and has still not reached the pre-crisis level of 2008.Economic experts predict that GDP growth will fall to 2.2% in 2019 and 1.9% in 2020.
