Search for Time-Invariance Violation in Proton–Deuteron Scattering

In the TRIC experiment, the invariance under T -inversion assuming P -parity conservation is tested in the scattering of protons with transverse polarization $$p_{y}^{p}$$ on deuterons with tensor polarization $${{P}_{{xz}}}$$ . Theoretical predictions for the corresponding null-test signal as a function of beam energy in the 100–1000?MeV range obtained in the framework of the Glauber theory with T -violating NN interaction potentials are reviewed.
