Production of vector mesons in ultraperipheral nucleus-nucleus interactions

Theoretical models describing the production of vector mesons in coherent ultraperipheral nucleus nucleus interactions are considered. The experimental data on the coherent and incoherent production of rho(0) mesons at the STAR setup (BNL, USA) are analyzed.
