UW marks 100 years of fishery science and solutions

It would be hard to overstate the influence of the University of Washington's School of Aquatic and Fishery Sciences (SAFS) on the working world of fishermen, shellfish growers, and resource managers. When the school marked its 100th anniversary witha three-day symposium in April, alumni flew in from around the world. They sold out the original venue, moved to a larger one, then sold out again.
