Go ahead and look at Saturn first. We all do. Whenever I go out with a telescope and Saturn is up, that's the first thing I look at. It's one of the most stunning objects in the sky, and besides, it's one of the first to appear in the evening twilight. So have a look, admire it, tease out the Cassini Division, check out the moons . . . then settle in for an evening of equally wonderful objects scattered all across the celestial vault of autumn.
