摘要

In view of the lack of experimental data regarding the thermodynamic behavior of elements in chromium-based melts, data for iron-based melts are adapted appropriately. Results are tabulated for the heat of solution of elements in liquid chromium, the activity coefficients of these elements, their molar reaction parameters, and the ΔG_r values for reduction processes and also for nitride, carbide, sulfide, and boride formation in chromium melts. Recommendations are made regarding the selection of strengthening phases in chromium alloys.
