The broad access we have to technology today is changing the way we learn, interact, and innovate. Therefore, teachers must instruct with this reality in mind-and this is especially true for those of us teaching inclusion-based classes, where the needs of students are incredibly diverse. This month, we discuss how to effectively meld makerspace design thinking methods with your instructional practices in a way that helps you meet the engineering expectations of the Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS Lead States 2013), as well as capitalize on the strengths of your students to help them produce high-level work.
