The energy scene in india has come a long way indeed.When India was struggling with crude import bills earlier,the NELP series of E&P acreage awards attracted many players but the big boys of the world like Exxon Mobil,Shell etc.did not show interest in the offers.Despite roads hows and hard selling India did about average in the NELP series and ultimately switched to the OALP mode.However,the alternative energy segment seems to have grabbed the interest of these very giants.
