Prior to the COVID-19 outbreak at the beginning of this year,the Asian LNG market had been expanding rapidly,with a focus placed on transitioning to clean gas and renewable-based energy to accommodate a growing population.Japan,South Korea,and China alone account for the majority of the world's global LNG demand,and the increasing demand for LNG in Asia has led to a diversification of LNG supply as well as thifts in contract structures.
