The company is trying to sidestep the Delaware River Basin Commission,which will vote on its earlier approval of a permit for the project before the end of the year.In its petition to FERC,Delaware River Partners says the DRBC has no authority over the project because it will be not be producing LNG at the site and it is not connected to a natural gas pipeline.
