VERY WEAK BIODIESEL OUTPUT IN OCTOBER

FAME production in October 2018 was only 133,820 tonnes, industry data show, a 33-month low, down from 174,085 in September and 293,096 one year earlier. This was the seventh consecutive decline on the year. Jan/Oct output fell to 2.064 mln tonnes, a three-year low, from 2.303 mln one year earlier. The main producers were a local unit of Louis Dreyfus, with a share in output of around 18%, Renova (13%) and Terminal 6 Industrial (12%).
