Max Midstream announced September 23,that it has acquired the Seahawk Pipeline and Terminal at the Port of Calhoun from Oaktree Capital.Max Midstream says it plans to build a pipeline to connect the port directly to the Eagle Ford and Permian Basins to transport up to 20 million barrels per day to the terminal at the port.Once the first phase of the pipeline is completed in late 2020 and exports have started,Max Midstream plans to have the second phase of the project completed by 2023.
