The 3053 tractor sales for the period to 31 March is up 8.6 per cent on the first quarter of 2017 and has put machinery dealerships in a good frame of mind despite a reasonably dry start to the autumn. Alan Kirsten, managing director ofAgriview - the company which collects the tractor sales data - said it was a strong result, given last year's 12,000-plus sales."Coming off a record year, it is a great result and dealers are pretty happy," Kirsten said.
