Thousands of enthusiasts in the UK keep wildfowl purely for their interest and beauty. The route into this curious pastime often comes by seeing stunningly beautiful birds that obviously thrive and are content in a garden setting.With over 170 species of the family Anatidae, there is a lot of choice and more than three-quarters of these are commercially available. The ducks, geese and swans that have never been domesticated are generally referred to as wildfowl or ornamental waterfowl, and vary in their tolerance to man.
