摘要

The term 'interference' usually refers to the interaction of waves, or the superposition of two or more waves resulting in a new wave pattern. Young's double-slit experiment demonstrates the interference phenomenon, and hence implies the wave nature of light. Yet in several experiments conducted by Dr. E. Panarella in diffraction and interference phenomena [1-3],it appears that light is not really a wave at all, but rather 'clumps' of particles. So how do we reconcile these conflicting observations?
