摘要

The paper deals with parametric investigation into the behaviour of concrete cylindrical shell by considering non-linear elastic stress strain relationship. The basic data for this is derived through extensive laboratory tests. The parametric study involve for a fixed sectional geometry of shell, the consideration to various spans and thicknesses of the shell. The work in fact represents a sequel to an earlier work related to linear elastic behaviour. This provides the scope for comparing the linear behaviour and non-linear behaviour. This is facilitated by reconsidering the complete range of the problems tackled in the earlier work. For the total analysis work 4 noded Flat plate shell element is used in the finite element method of analysis.
