THE PRODUCTION OF TOTAL fertiliser nutrients (N+P2Os) at 1.428 million tonnes during November 2006 recorded a positive growth of 1.6% over November 2005.Production of N at 1.023 million tonnes and P2O5 at 0.405 million tonnes registered an increase of 1.6% each during November 2006 over November 2005.Majority of the fertilisers recorded positive growth in production,except AS,CAN,AC!,SSP,16-20-0,20- 20-0 (ANP),23-23-0,17-17-17,12-32-16 and 10-26-26 which recorded negative growth during the period.While the production of N surpassed the target marginally by 8.8 thousand tonnes,P2O5 fell short by 22 thousand tonnes during November 2006.The capacity utilisation of N and P2O5 increased from 101.7% and 87.9% during November 2005 to 102% and 88.5%,respectively,during November 2006.
