Having known Noel for 46 years through two differing honey industry roles - one in my capacity as Editor of The Australasian Beekeeper, and then through our association with Capilano Honey Limited -1 can say with full confidence that what really mattered was that he was my friend and, at times, counsellor and, on other occasions, teacher.Noel had one special gift that he gave willingly to many - his time! He was always willing to listen and give advice when it was sought.
