FNB adds Nord Stream 2 connections to grid plan

German system operators association FNB has included five projects related to Nord Stream 2 in an addendum to its network development plan for 2016-26. Energy regulator Bnetza ordered the country’s system operators to put the infrastructure expansion plans on hold last July, as they would only be required if the 55bn m~3/yr pipeline was actually built, which was “at this moment uncertain”, the regulator said at the time.
