Hemophagocytic Syndrome in Gallium-67 Scintigraphy

A 20-year-old man with no prior medical history has visited local clinics due to acute-onset fever and sore throat. The subsequent clinical presentations, laboratory and serological examiantions, and bone marrow biopsy disclosed hemophagocytic syndrome (namely hemophagocytic lymphohistiocytosis, HLH). During his illness, the Ga-67 scintigraphy aimed to find the fever source revealed a particular image pattern.
