Total prepares Angola deep tie-back competition

Total is preparing to launch the competitive FEED for its ACCE project in Angola next quarter.Three groupings are expected to conduct the work on the deep-water tie-back project in Block 32 on a reimbursable basis.All the usual contenders are involved but Saipem and McDer-mott are believed to have a head start because of vessel ability.ACCE will take in crude from the Alho,Cominhos and Cominhos East fields and in total there will be 13 wells-seven oil producers and six water injectors.They will be in a water depth of around 5,085ft(1,550m).
