Perenco to firm Cameroon shallow Oak

Perenco is looking to develop a shallow water discovery off Cameroon after buying into the acreage. Glencore previously held a 100% interest in the Bolongo block which contains its 2012 Oak discovery but Perenco has now bought out 50% and taken over as operator. French independent Perenco operates a raft of nearby acreage in the Rio del Rey basin but Glencore itself was unable to make Oak work commercially.
