Angola awards Namibe Basin licensing trio

The winners of the three blocks awarded in the latest licensing round were confirmed by ANPG, the National Agency of Petroleum, Gas and Biofuels of Angola. All three are in the Namibe Basin and, as previously revealed by AOG (see 21 November), Total took the lead for Block 29 with a 46% interest and Equinor to take 24.5%, BP 9.5% and Sonangol 20%. The offered commitment was a signature bonus of US $2.0m and l,500sq km of 3D seismic.
