Green chemistry is the practice of chemistry in a manner that maximizes its benefits while eliminate or at least greatly reduce its adverse impacts. The philosophy of green chemistry principles can imply to the human behavior or character. There were no specific subject to teach charactervalue especially science character value with green chemistry insight. It was integrated in the learning process like in Basic Chemistry subject. Character education has been often associated with behavioral or moral attitude, but actually more and further than it, among others, related tothe behavior of nature and the environment. Implementation of green chemistry principles can be adapted in human attitudes and behaviors in an effort to save the environment that can be realized through green education. The aims of this study to determine the feasibility of implementationof science characters value with green chemistry insight by using project based learning (PjBL) model. This research method used pre-experiment design. The results of this research show that the science character value with green chemistry insight feasible done in lectures with PjBL model.The project tasks were done by six groups of students with 6 themes respectively: smart energy, smart water, smart rubbish, smart mobility, and the utilization of renewable feedstock (two themes namely use of natural acid-base indicator, and preparation of perfume from citrus fruit peels).It can be concluded that implementation of green chemistry principles on the science character value with green chemistry insight integrated in Basic Chemistry course by using PjBL in order to realize green education can be done on good category.
