Barrier Adhesives from Protein-Rich, Plant-Based Raw Materials

The Fraunhofer Institute for Process Engineering and Packaging IVV has developed a new process for manufacturing barrier adhesives from plant proteins. The new protein adhesive formulations with their high barrier effect are now ready for optimization and commercialization in collaboration with industrial partners.
