When having properly threaded holes, is critical to an automotive part's performance, threads on every part need to be verified. That was the case for a magnesium steering wheel breakaway component that a customer of All Tech Engineering was set to produce. All Tech Engineering builds special machine tools and needed a way to check two tapped holes on each side of the component as part of the customer's multistation, palletized machining center.
