These proceedings contain 67 papers on various aspects of protected cultivation, especially greenhouse production. Topics include: (i) structures and systems for protected cultivation (including structure design, covering materials, climate control equipment for heating, cooling, shading and ventilation, robotics, closed ecological systems and space cultivation technologies); (ii) crop responses to environment (including crop development, crop response to closed environments, modelling and artificial intelligence for crop management, response of crops to abiotic stresses, crop production as affected by season); (iii) plant nutrition, water and nutrient delivery systems, and pest and disease management (including water and nutrient requirements, hydroponics including substrates and water culture, design and control of recirculation systems, biofertilizers, integrated production and protection systems, soil disinfestation alternatives, organic or ecological production models); and (iv) new crops to fulfill market requirements (including flowers, exotic vegetables, bush, vine and tree fruits, and aromatic and medicinal plants).
