The South African Institute for Non-Destructive Testing(SAINT) has proudly celebrated its first ever Women in NDT(WINDT) Conference – A Day of Inspiration, believed tobe the first event of its type in the world. This women-inspiredevent took place on 14 October 2016 atthe Council for Scientific and IndustrialResearch (CSIR) in Pretoria. Over 100female non-destructive testing (NDT)technicians, administrators and studentsfrom around the country listened to,networked with and learned from anexciting and high-powered line-up oftechnical and inspiring industry leaders.“This event turned out to be everythingwe had planned for it to be – and more,”said Event Champion Thea Wagner, Senior Sales Representativeat Gammatec SA. “Women in NDT at last know that they are notalone and that together, we are stronger.”
