Continuous Extrusion of Hard Metal Profiles

Owing to the specific rheological properties of different hard metal bodies, the continuous extrusion of profiles made from this material with screw extruders places high demands on extrusion technology. This applies not only to the extrusion itself, but also to the downstream process steps such as material dosing and preparation as well as the upstream processes like cutting, transport and handling of the "green" profiles, all of which call for professional solutions in view of the ever-increasing demands for quality and of global competition.
