US Celanese files patent infringement lawsuit against Poland’s Falken Trade

LONDON (ICIS)--Celanese has filed a patent infringement lawsuit in Poland against distributor of acesulfame potassium (Ace-K) Falken Trade Polska, the US-based acetyls producer said on Friday. The complaint alleges that Falken is selling infringing Ace-K sweetener produced by a Chinese manufacturer for which Celanese are now claiming compensation for damages caused.
