PetroChina's 9-month net profit up ten-fold year on year

SINGAPORE(ICIS)--PetroChina registered a net profit of CNY17.4bn in the first three quarters, more than ten times the CNY1.7bn in the same period of last year, thanks to rebounds in the oil price, the company said on Monday. Its revenue in the first nine months stood at CNY1,457.7bn, up by 26.7%. Operating profit increased 17.2% to CNY53.4bn.
