China’s Sinopec Mitsubishi shuts BPA unit on equipment failure

SINGAPORE (ICIS)--Sinopec Mitsubishi Chemical Polycarbonate (Beijing) shut on Wednesday its 180,000 tonne/year bisphenol A (BPA) unit in Beijing because of an equipment failure, a company soure said. The plant would be shut for three to five days, the source said.
