US oil, gas rig count rises for 12th straight week

HOUSTON (ICIS)--The US oil and gas drilling rig count rose to 839 for the week ending 7 April, up 15 from the previous week, according to oilfield tool and technology company Baker Hughes on Friday. The count is up by 396 rigs year on year, Baker Hughes said.
