HOUSTON (ICIS)--The US oil rig count erased last week's slight gains, according to the weekly drilling rigs report released on Friday by oilfield services firm Baker Hughes. The count remains lower year on year and has been declining throughout 2019 as smaller, independent drillers cut back on spending.
