Mact attack - The future of the boatbuilding MACT

In 1990,the Clean air act was amended to include provisions on regulating hazardous air pollutants (HAPs).Section 112(d) specified that the standards be set using the maximum achievable control technology or what is now known as Mact.The enactment of these provisions would set into motion a sea of change for both the composites and boating industries.
