Print coating keeps bacteria at bay

UK firm Ultrachem has launched Safe to Touch Print (STTP) water-based anti-bacterial print coatings. The product uses a combination of BPR-approved ingredients to deactivate all current common pathogens and is said to have been trialled successfully "throughout the UK". Killing 99.99% of bacteria, viruses and fungi, all printed surfaces coated with STTP are effective within four minutes and provide protection throughout the lifetime of the print.
