ProWorx, the Digital Front End (DFE) designed exclusively by Esko for the Mark Andy Digital Series of fully in-line, hybrid inkjet printing and converting technology, is claimed to allow converters "to realise the potential of the new digital label and package printing platform". ProWorx is a 'one box' solution said to enable superior and consistent control between the Mark Andy presses and the digital file management workflows currently used by converters. It is equally suited to a large multi-press, multifunction hybrid printing environment or as a dedicated single digital press operation for a wide variety of label and packaging work. The DFE can be easily integrated into a networked infrastructure when linked to the Esko Automation Engine, as well as others.
