摘要

WHEN USDA's 2006 planting intentions report conies out at the end of this month, market analysts expect a reversal of last year's shift to corn. The rise in both fuel costs and confidence in managing Asian soybean rust, combined with lower corn prices, is putting soybeans back in favor with U.S. growers in a big way. In fact, estimates on how many acres will switch from corn to soybeans this year are all over the board, ranging from 1 million to 4 million acres.
