Construction of wind-power station in Ukraine to favour plate market

EuroCape plans to build a 500 MW wind-power station in Ukraine, which will lend support to the Ukrainian plate market.In mid-December, OPIC, the US government’s monetary institution, approved granting EuroCape a $150 million loan(including insurance of political risks and reinsurance for $250 million) for construction of a wind-power station inZaporizhia region. The funds will be spent on building the first phase of it, which capacity will reach 225 MW. Theproject is scheduled to be launched in 2018.
