GCC might impose 31% duty on HDG and PPGI imports

The GCC countries are proposing to put a safeguard tariff on HDG and PPGI imports in order to protect the local steelindustry. As a result of the final determination of serious injury caused by imports of HDG and PPGI, the GCC countries haveproposed to impose a 31% safeguard duty, according to a filing published by the World Trade Organization.
