EVRAZ NTMK to slash slab, suspend billet export due to repairs

EVRAZ NTMK plans to slash slab and suspend square billet export in September due to repairs at its BF shop.Slab shipments will decline by 45% to 62,000 t month-on-month. Deliveries to the company’s foreign assets will declinethe most – by 54% to 32,000 t. Shipments to the spot market will decrease to 30,000 t (down 29%). The volumeis destined for the Czech Republic.
