Qatari real estate sector showed gradual weakening through most of 2017, fueled by the economic blockade and worsenedrelations with neighbouring countries. The downtrend is expected to continue in 2018, therefore putting pressureon local construction development as well as steel supplies. However, strong country’s focus on infrastructure projectscould somewhat balance the situation.
