Chinese HRC exporters dropped their prices again in order to attract more orders from abroad. However, trading is still limited, as Indian suppliers are very aggressive in the Vietnamese market, pushing prices further down.on September 3, most Chinese mills were offering HRC (SS400, 3-12 mm) at $465-470/t FoB for october shipment, which was $20/t below the level of two weeks ago. Benxi Steel and Shangang Rizhao Steelworks had sold out September allocation and offered at $475-480/t FoB for November. Export quotes dipped faster than domestic ones, which lost only RMB 45/t ($6/t) on average over two weeks.
