According to the US Energy Information Administration (EIA) the national average retail price for regular gasoline was $2.421/gal on Dec. 10, a 3.0￠/gal decrease from the Dec. 3 price, down for the ninth straight week and settling at the lowest since Aug. 2017. Texas's $2.042/gal was the lowest price for gasoline, while San Francisco, California's $3.415/gal was the highest price. RFG's national average settled at $2.622/gal-a drop of 4.3￠/gal on the week. The state of TX and the Gulf Coast region shared the lowest price of $1.999/gal for RFG, while the highest was San Francisco, CA's $3.415/gal.
